Dog Walking

There are times when you are either out of the house for long periods, at work, or simply unable to walk your dog due to illness or disability.

Dogs need physical and mental stimulation in order to thrive and walking and exercise and just sniffing in general can help relieve boredom and prevent destructive behaviours like chewing or scratching from occurring at home.

Happy Hounds Croxley offer Group and 1:1 dog walks to suit your requirements. We will meet you and your pooch for an informal chat and check your pooch is happy before taking them out on a short trial walk.

For piece of mind, we can send you an update via WhatsApp whist your pooch is out on their walk at your request.

Day Visits

We offer toilet break visits and new puppy or kitten/cat visits to fill in the gaps with you are away from home for longer.

These visits are up to half an hour depending what is required and bespoke to you and your pet so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Pet Sitting

Pet sitting is an ideal option for our four legged friends that need company within the familiar walls of their own home. This can be for up to 3 hours. Usually this type of service is required at a weekend.

This service is quoted for on request as will be dependent on what is involved in looking after your pet whist you are away.

Our pet sitting services include:

Petting
Feeding and fresh water
Playing and clearing up any little accidents
A walk if required.

Prices

WALKS

We will give your dog a full 50 minute walk not including picking them up and drop off.

Weekdays

Individual 1hr Solo Walk

£20

1 hour Pack Walk

£15

Public/Bank Holidays

Will be charged at time and a half except:

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Easter Sunday which will be charged at double rate.

2 dogs from the same home

1 hour walk (plus £5 per extra dog)

Payment/Cancellation

Payment terms are on the last day of the week for walks that week.

Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer.

We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Cancellation made with less than 24hrs notice will be chargeable at the full rate.
